'Minamata' contains a true tale of American photojournalist W. Eugene Smith's journey to Japan, in which he brought a salient issue of the local lower class to the world. Minamata disease first came to the surface in 1956, named after a bay town of Japan. It is man-made, born out of their avarice, corruption, and pollution. The Chisso company caused all this pain by dumping chemical waste into the sea. Minamata (2021) Genres: Drama, History Cast: Johnny Depp, Minami Bages The prologue tells that Eugene's (also known as Gene Smith, played by Johnny Depp) life is not a utopia. He is broke, reckless, and has sold all equipment to seed his children's dreams. Eugene works for the prestigious Life magazine as he is good at capturing the essence of any given moment. Aileen (Minami Bages) plays a vital role in the movement of Minamata. She is the one who brought Eugene to Japan. She meets Eugene under the pretext of advertising and informs him about the situation of Minama...

'The German Lesson' is about a conflict between art and dictatorship, how the Nazi supremacy turned a father into a cruel man with no feelings. He remembers (metaphorically) the paintings burning on the shoreline, that's how we get a flashback of his painful memories from childhood, and the story begins. The protagonist is shown as a little boy, Siggi Jepsen (Levi Eisenblätter), his father Jens Jepsen (Ulrich Noethen) is a policeman and is worse than strict. Siggi has two siblings. Hilke Jepsen (Maria Dragus) i...

(If you're looking for the " Hey If you're feeling sad use this " link, it has been moved HERE .) Here you will find a list of aesthetic movies. This list basically depends on the movie quotes, good cinematography, unique story/characters, etc. Submarine (2010) Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance It is based on Joe Dunthorne's novel. Oliver Tate (Craig Roberts) is the main character. He is playing a nerd teen role. What I really like about this movie is the way he narrates the story and the way he thinks throughout the movie. If you like movie quotes & subtitles and love taking screenshots, then ' Submarine ' is a perfect movie to watch. Its cinematography is a work of art. Also, you will like the soundtrack of the movie by Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys). You must listen to the song 'Stuck on The Puzzle'. "I'm not the kind of fool. Who's gonna sit and sing to you. About stars, girls." Read: Dating Amber (2020) D...
